Ground Rules
Effective Date: 9th May 2026
At Zarrow, our goal is to create a trusted, professional, and fair hiring environment for recruiters, employers, candidates, referrers, and all other users of the platform.
By accessing or using Zarrow, creating an account, submitting information, posting a role, applying to work on a role, submitting a candidate, making a referral, or otherwise interacting with Zarrow, you agree to follow these Ground Rules.
These Ground Rules set out the basic standards expected from anyone using or interacting with Zarrow. They form part of, and should be read together with, Zarrow’s Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, applicable user agreements, referral policies, job posts, and any other terms that apply to your use of Zarrow.
1. Be honest and accurate
You must provide information that is true, accurate, and complete to the best of your knowledge. Do not submit fake, misleading, outdated, exaggerated, or incomplete information about yourself, your company, a role, a candidate, a referral, or any hiring opportunity.
2. Act professionally and respectfully
You must treat candidates, recruiters, employers, Zarrow team members, and other users with respect and professionalism. Harassment, discrimination, abuse, threats, spams, inappropriate behaviour, or unfair conduct will not be tolerated.
3. Do not spam candidates, recruiters, or employers
Do not send spam, bulk messages, irrelevant outreach, repeated follow-ups after disinterest, fake applications, low-quality referrals, or misleading communications. This applies across all channels, including Zarrow, email, LinkedIn, messaging apps, calls, and any other communication channel.
4. Follow role approvals and role instructions
1. Recruiters must not contact candidates for a role unless they are approved or otherwise permitted by Zarrow to work on that role.
2. Recruiters must properly read and understand the role page, hiring brief, job post, employer instructions, and any Zarrow guidance before sourcing, contacting, or submitting candidates.
3. Recruiters must not ignore role-specific instructions, employer requirements, hiring manager feedback, or Zarrow’s operational guidance.
5. Represent employers accurately
1. Recruiters and other users must not misrepresent an employer, role, compensation, hiring process, work arrangement, company stage, company business, or opportunity.
2. Candidate outreach should be based on information provided by Zarrow, the employer, the role page, the hiring brief, or the employer’s official public materials.
6. Respect candidate consent
Do not submit, upload, share, or forward a candidate’s information unless you have the right to do so. Recruiters must ensure that candidates are aware that their information may be shared with Zarrow and the relevant employer for hiring-related purposes.
7. Submit candidates responsibly
Recruiters should submit candidates only where they genuinely believe the candidate may be relevant for the role. Candidate submissions should include accurate candidate details, fit rationale, known risks or gaps, and any information reasonably required by Zarrow. Do not knowingly submit duplicate, conflicted, unavailable, uninterested, unsuitable, or speculative candidates.
8. Do not bypass Zarrow
You must not use Zarrow to discover employers, recruiters, candidates, roles, opportunities, or commercial relationships and then bypass Zarrow to avoid Zarrow’s process, fees, rules, payout structure, or platform controls. This includes moving conversations or transactions off-platform where the purpose is to avoid Zarrow’s role or commercial rights.
9. Respect confidentiality
You must keep confidential any non-public information accessed through Zarrow, including employer information, candidate details, recruiter information, role requirements, compensation details, hiring process details, platform data, and commercial terms.Do not share such information with third parties unless permitted by Zarrow, authorised by the relevant party, or required for the hiring process.
10. Do not make unauthorised promises
1. Unless expressly authorised by Zarrow, you must not promise or represent that:
(a) a candidate will be shortlisted, interviewed, offered, or hired;
(b) a recruiter will be approved, assigned roles, or earn any payout;
(c) an employer will receive candidates, hires, discounts, specific timelines, or specific outcomes;
(d) Zarrow has approved any commercial terms; or
(e) you have authority to bind Zarrow.
11. Use Zarrow fairly
Do not create fake accounts, duplicate accounts, false referrals, manipulated records, artificial activity, or any arrangement intended to unfairly obtain access, rewards, payouts, credits, roles, candidates, or platform benefits.
12. Follow applicable laws
You are responsible for complying with applicable laws, including laws relating to privacy, data protection, employment, anti-discrimination, taxation, confidentiality, intellectual property, and electronic communications.
13. Platform monitoring and action
1. Zarrow may monitor platform activity, review submissions, investigate suspected violations, and take appropriate action to protect platform quality, trust, users, candidates, employers, recruiters, and Zarrow.
2. If Zarrow believes these Ground Rules have been violated, Zarrow may review, reject, withhold, pause, remove, limit, suspend, or terminate access, submissions, referrals, rewards, payouts, or platform activity.
3. Serious or repeated violations may result in immediate account suspension or termination and may have legal consequences.
14. Updates to these Ground Rules
Zarrow may update these Ground Rules from time to time. Where practical, Zarrow may notify users of material changes. Updated Ground Rules will become effective when posted or on the effective date stated in the update. By continuing to access, use, or interact with Zarrow after the updated Ground Rules become effective, you agree to follow the updated Ground Rules.
